The Anna Trust adds talents
The Anna Trust Foundation is pleased to announce that we have added two stellar professionals to our staff.
Alessandro Cassinerio joins us as Grants Program Manager, having previously served as Head of Programs at People in Need in Cambodia. In Cambodia he led national program strategy and implementation across disaster resilience, climate action, and inclusive development, overseeing complex portfolio million as well as cross-functional teams. Alessandro significantly increased program income by securing new funding and strategic partnerships. He has also held positions in Myanmar and Ecuador.
Alessandro holds degrees in Economics, Business and Corporate Management, and International Cooperation with a major in Development. He conducted his master’s thesis research in Argentina on that nation’s sovereign default and its economic consequences.
Alessandro is still recovering from his February move to Rome from Cambodia with his wife and young son.
Juan Rodrigo Acuña González joins us as Financial Manager. Juan is a Brother of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood where he has been General Treasurer. He has also been Vice President of the Association of English and French Speaking General Treasurers in Rome. Originally from Chile, Juan has experience working across cultures and organizations in Latin America, Europe and the U.S. with considerable time spent in Chicago. To put the issue to rest for our readers, Juan’s baseball preference is for the White Sox fan not the Cubs fan, a view he shares with Pope Leo.
He holds masters-level degrees in Nonprofit Management and Pastoral Studies, and diplomas in Industrial and Environmental Engineering.
